We are hiring an experienced Business Development Specialist -B2B- Hospitality & Retail Technology to join our energetic team at DCR Profit Control Systems in Nashville, TN.

DCR is seeking a Business Development Specialist to help support our efforts to energize interest, cultivate leads, and expand our market presence. Working closely with leadership, technical support, and implementation, the Business Development Specialist will drive lead generation, development, and qualify inbound leads generated by our website, telephone inquiries, and referral partners.

You will be representing one or several of our restaurant and retail technology solutions to other businesses. DCR will provide training and resources for our software solutions, hardware, and payments integrations.

Responsibilities:

  • Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers.
  • Understand SaaS and PaaS technology sale
  • Prospect and contact potential customers.
  • Develop thorough understanding of DCR's solutions and target markets.
  • Understand value propositions and best practices for successful partnerships.
  • Work with members of our technical teams to resolve customer inquiries.
  • Set regular follow-up appointments with existing customers to promote retention.
  • Some overnight travel required.

Qualifications:

  • Restaurant and grocery experience is a plus.
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or related field.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to quickly build trust and relationships.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms.
  • Comfortable working independently in a deadline and detail oriented environment.
  • Familiar with Windows, iOS, and Android operating systems.

This position is base salary plus commission. Base salary based on experience.
