Business Summary:
The Business Development Specialist will support the sales team’s efforts to meet and exceed revenue goals. In addition, this individual will assist all outside sales staff with sales and operational support by coordinating, communicating, and processing all sales-related correspondence, contracts, and other pertinent tasks so that the sales staff may focus on the sales goals set by the company.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Utilizes key systems and processes that support the contract lifecycle management workflow.
Processes all advertising contracts for TourBook Print Ads, digital, OA Annual/Interim and Renewals, OA Chains, and Management Companies, and handles all cancellations.
Requests and processes all Ad creative assets for TourBook Print Ads and digital sales.
Uses contracts to perform TourBook proofing and auditing on the extraction for print ads to reserve orders and all OA elements.
Collects OA photos for hotels, restaurants, and attractions for print and online.
Maintains data integrity in CRM by updating opportunities and contact information, such as personnel changes, email updates, and additional contact details.
Submits all required digital campaign assets with contracts to the Digital Ad Specialist for campaign fulfillment and management.
Reviews all advertising contract types for accuracy and completeness before sending contracts for client signature via DocuSign, email, or fax.
Documents all communication and conducts appropriate follow-up actions when necessary.
Serves as a communication point between departments and the sales team by directing sales leads to appropriate team members.
Assists assigned account managers with advertising contract processing for all product types to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Submits AAA.com issues via PPN/TST Issue Tracker for triage and escalation to the appropriate vendor for resolution.
Provides excellent customer service to clients by following up on requests on behalf of the Account Manager.
Supports efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience and relationships.
Responds to emails and phone calls, assists with client inquiries, and ensures client information is correct in all related key systems.
Performs other related duties, tasks, requests, and directives issued by management as required.
Attendance is required.
Requirements, Competencies, and Certifications:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field, and 1-3 years of professional work experience (preferably in the sales and advertising field). Related experience beyond 2 years can be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
Hiring Range: $21.23 - $25.90
This position is also eligible for participation in AAA, Inc.'s Annual Incentive Plan.
