Qualifications:

• 1 to 3 years of prior experience in a Business Insurance Account Manager role, including marketing and placement support.


• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred


• Advanced designations a plus (CPCU, CIC, AU, ARM, CRM)


• Intermediate industry and product knowledge.


• Established relationships with carriers.


• Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills, along with excellent customer service abilities.


• Acute attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and strong problem-solving skills.


• Maintain a positive and respectful attitude towards colleagues.


• Solid negotiation skills, with a strong awareness of attitudes, tone and timing.


• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Powerpoint) and advanced proficiency in Excel.


• Experience with Agency Management Systems such as EPIC.

Licenses and Certifications

• Property Casualty Resident's License required

Summary of the role: 

The Business Insurance Marketing Associate is responsible for working with the marketing leader, producers and client managers on accounts of all sizes (new and renewal business) with carriers. This role includes assisting in the preparation and presentation of client proposals.  The Marketing Associate will help to ensure that business meets established eligibility guidelines and complies with company and regulatory standards.  Additionally, this position is accountable for processing business within established time and quality standards. The Marketing Associate will uphold the organizations reputation and conduct business professionally when interacting with colleagues, customers, and carriers, in alignment with MMA's Core Values.
