Market Research Strategy
Lead the planning and delivery of market research initiatives in close collaboration with global teams, including studies supporting new product launches and key pipeline assets.
Develop and execute research programs tailored to the Japan market, incorporating local market dynamics, customer needs, payer insights, and regulatory requirements.
Insight Development
Analyze a broad range of internal and external data sources to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
Translate insights into clear recommendations that inform brand strategy, customer segmentation, targeting, and positioning.
Performance Measurement
Track and assess marketing performance indicators such as ROI, engagement, and conversion metrics to support data\-driven decision\-making.
Revenue Forecasting
Provide market assessments and revenue forecasts for in\-line products, label expansions, and newly launched therapies.
Competitive Intelligence
Monitor competitor activity, market share evolution, and product launches.
Deliver strategic guidance based on thorough competitive landscape analyses.
Cross\-functional & Regional Collaboration
Partner closely with brand, sales, medical affairs, and finance teams to ensure insights are aligned with business priorities.
Contribute to strategic planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis across functions and geographies.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure all business intelligence activities are conducted in accordance with internal policies and external compliance requirements.
Required:
Bachelorâs degree in Business, Data Science, Marketing, or a related discipline; a masterâs or other advanced degree is a plus.
Minimum of five yearsâ experience in business intelligence, analytics, or strategic planning roles.
Demonstrated analytical and problem\-solving capabilities, with hands\-on experience using BI platforms and data visualization tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convert complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations.
Proven experience collaborating across functions and effectively engaging diverse stakeholder groups.
A strong commitment to driving both patient impact and business performance, with the ability to influence through collaboration rather than authority.
Proficiency in business\-level English, both spoken and written.
Preferred:
Background in business intelligence, analytics, or strategic planning within the pharmaceutical or broader healthcare sector.
Direct involvement in new product launches or label expansion projects.
Experience working in agile, startup, or small\-team environments.
Exposure to or experience in rare disease therapeutic areas.
