Position Summary
The Business Loan Servicing Analyst is responsible for performing multiple credit and
loan servicing functions to ensure the integrity and accuracy of loan collateral performance including insurance tracking, property tax tracking, financial statement and tax return tracking, file maintenance, quality control, and general member service.
Essential Functions & Primary Responsibilities
- Assist Business Servicing Team with verifying new loans/extensions/renewals input into core system.
- Input various tracking information for new loans/extensions/renewals into core system.
- Maintain and update the insurance tracking process and follow-up on any missing documentation
- Maintain and update the property tax tracking process and follow-up on any delinquent property taxes
- Maintain and update the financial statement and tax return tracking process. Work with Portfolio Manager, Credit Officers and Relationship Managers to obtain the necessary information
- Process wires, loan advances, payments and deposits for members
- Prepare ACH set-ups/ACH revisions for business members
- Prepare payoff letters, process payoffs, prepare discharges as needed
- Maintain closed loans files
- Maintain Document Portal by saving in appropriate folders and advise Relationship Manager/Credit Officer of documents received and location saved
- Assist Relationship Managers with other daily duties as needed
- Answers and transfers phone calls, screening when necessary
- Ensures compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, and Office of Foreign Asset Controls, and should request legal interpretation as necessary. Must ensure subordinates are also compliant with such laws and regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education & Qualifications
- At least an Associate’s Degree in Business or similar related experience
- 1-2 years of experience working in the commercial lending area
- This position requires an understanding in basic computer skills including m365 suites
