This position will be located in Huntsville, AL\n\nThis position reports to the Global Command and Control Solutions (GC2S) Business Unit Director, Business Management within the CWI Division and partners with the Operating Unit Director to establish strategy, prioritize requirements and achieve financial goals while ensuring the integrity of business processes. \n\nRoles and Responsibilities include:\n\n * Leads a team of Business Managers and Program Control Analysts in executing a broad scope of business management activities to support program execution and compliance\n * Provide business oversight, interface with applicable customers and auditors (internal and external) and assist with contract negotiations as needed to ensure sound business deals within authorized parameters are achieved.\n * Lead the Quarterly EAC process to include identification of risks / opportunities, and determine backlog and margin booking rates\n * Manage the monthly financial forecasting process to include analysis and recommendations on awards, sales, operating margin, and cash\n * Interface with diverse functional areas to ensure risks are understood and financial performance is achieved. \n * The successful candidate must possess an advanced understanding of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS); Federal Cost Principles including direct versus indirect, allowable vs. unallowable; Forward Pricing Rate proposals (FPRPs) development, negotiation and execution; understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM), Financial Planning to include Annual Operating Plan development, budgeting and forecasting to include Capital expenditures and inventory. \n * Individual should be proficient at developing and motivating a productive staff in a team environment with excellent interpersonal, planning, presentation and organizational skills with focused emphasis on continuous process improvement\n * Must be willing to travel approximately 10% of time (could include international travel) \n\n\n\nJob Qualifications:\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u0027s degree in Accounting/Finance/Mathematics with a minimum of 10 years applicable experience, or Master\u2019s degree\u2019 and 8 years relevant years\u2019 experience (or four additional years of relevant professional experience in lieu of degree) in finance, accounting or program control.\n * Understanding of DoD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, Commercial contracts, and the FAR.\n * Knowledge of EVMS as applied to major government contracts\n * Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office suite, SAP and BW\n * Proven professional and managerial skills\n * Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team environment\n * Able to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish the program result\n * Able to prepare and analyze data and figures\n * Ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solution\n * Prior experience with program budgeting and forecasting, as well as Annual Operating Plan development\n * Able to lead a team in numerous geographical locations\n * Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Experience with international financials and/or proposal development\n * Experience developing complex business case models\n * Experience with performing Earned Value, reviewing Earned Value performance, bottoms up EAC, risks/opportunity/pressure analysis\n * Intermediate, to advanced-level of understanding of the following systems or software is beneficial: COBRA (or similar project management software), SAP, S/4, Microsoft Excel, and Office Analysis\n * Ability to develop and present material outside the immediate work function\n * Strong verbal and written communications skills\n * Excellent organizational and prioritization skills\n * Comfortable networking and interfacing with employees of other organizations.\n * Full working knowledge of Financial Planning and Reporting, to include leading the development of monthly forecasts, Annual Operating Plans, and Long-Range Strategic Plans\n * Working knowledge of Government financial CDRL\u2019s\n * Active Secret Clearance\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $167,500.00 - $251,300.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
