Job Description - Business Manager - Powersports & Marine

Summary: 


Join the largest Marine & Powersports group in the State of MN!



This position will support all aspect of the Finance & Insurance office and its operations. As an experienced Business Manager, you will focus on processing customer applications, underwriting to lenders and funding deals; approximately 120-200 transactions annually. In addition, you will support the General Sales Manager & Used/Brokerage Manager in overseeing day to day operations and staff.



This position would be in addition to a current team of (2) Business Managers & (1) GSM. This position will primarily office at our RW North Location - 3859 Hwy 61 West, Red Wing, MN & will be supporting both our Marine and Powersports Sales Team.

Duties and Responsibilities:




  • Business Manager to sales department.

  • Secondary desk manager (primary is the General Sales Manager).

  • Conduct daily staff huddle.

  • Conduct daily one on one with sales staff (in conjunction with GM).

  • Implement River Valley sales process on daily basis with all sales staff.

  • Participate in budgeting and goal setting for department(s).

  • Present and sell F&I product to applicable guests.

  • Ensure customer needs are met by completing all paperwork in a timely and courteous manner.

  • Support general customer service and flow.

  • Support proper licensing and titling applications.

  • Accurately processing customer credit applications and verifying information.

  • Ensure all customers are adequately informed during the financial and titling processes.

  • Work directly with lenders to ensure River Valley maximizes opportunities.

  • Assist in training sales and business management staff.

  • Assisting General Sales Manager with the handling of customer issues within store.

  • Attend in person meetings when required.



Schedule:


Five day workweek:  M-F 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.  (with day off during week)

Heavy Schedule Boat Show Season & Spring thru early summer………6mths heavier…………6mths lighter



Compensation: Average earnings can range between $120,000 to $200,000. The pay structure has a Favorable Base with a generous draw based monthly incentive. This can be annualized for the right experienced candidate.  



Qualifications:



  • Must have a High School diploma

  • Associate or a four-year degree in Business, Finance or related field is preferred.

  • Experience in financing or insurance is required.

  • Marine/Boat or Powersport sales experience is helpful.

  • Ability to communicate at a high level, both verbally and written.

  • Team-oriented, self-motivating and process driven.

  • Proven ability to close deals.

  • Strong Problem-solving skills

  • Time management skills

  • Ability to establish and attain deadlines

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
