Who we are looking for:

Maverick BioMetals is seeking a rockstar Business Operations Manager who is looking for a career where they can make a significant impact on the world. This role will be fast-paced and vary day-to-day. As our business grows and needs change, so will your role. You will work directly with me, the COO, and you will also have cross-functional interaction with our team of scientists. You will work on a variety of projects that will all work towards commercializing our BioExtraction technology leading to creating a more sustainable future powered by clean energy.
Key Responsibilities

Build relationships with key stakeholders, such as suppliers, customers, industry partners, and government agencies.

Conduct market and industry research to guide strategy and decision-making.

Strategize and evaluate ways to commercialization our technology.

Ability to anticipate and preemptively solve problems before they escalate.

Sourcing candidates for hiring.

Handle other essential business operations, such as building operations, IT, and logistics.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

Prior experience in a business operations or customer success role may be an advantage

Experience at an early stage or high growth startup.

Demonstrated experience managing external stakeholders, such as customers or suppliers.

Solid project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication, written and verbal, and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Prior experience in biotechnology, mining, metals industry may be an advantage (but I believe that any one can get caught up to speed in our industry if they are eager enough to learn).

This is an in-person position.
