This position supports Raytheon-Rafael Area Protection Systems (R2S), a U.S. Israeli joint venture responsible for U.S. production of advanced missile systems supporting both U.S. and allied (Israel) defense programs. The Business Operations Lead is Raytheon’s primary integrator into R2S, enabling execution, governance, and growth across a complex, high-visibility defense enterprise.
This role sits at the center of a mission-critical defense business that protects both the United States and key allies.
The Business Operations Lead will operate at the intersection of national security, international partnership, and manufacturing scale-up, with direct exposure to senior Raytheon leadership, joint-venture partners, and government stakeholders. It offers a rare opportunity to influence strategy and execution in a high-impact, fast-moving environment while helping build a new U.S. manufacturing capability from the ground up.
This requires access to R2S sites, presence to visit customers, and on-site presence at Raytheon locations.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
Clearance Information: This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
