Job Description - Business Operations Manager



It is our priority at Covenant Glen to provide not only extraordinary care but also, provide services to meet the needs in all aspects of life including physical activity, spiritual services, personalized nutrition, dementia care programs, entertainment events, and intellectual activities.  We are currently looking for a Wellness Director for our  Frankenmuth Covenant Glen location.  We are currently looking for a Business Operations Manager to join our team.


 


Duties and Responsibilities


 



  • Manages all aspects of scheduling (including all call-ins and finding coverage when needed)

  • Participates in the on-call rotation and creates/updates the Supervisor On-Call rotation.

  • Reviews payroll for all hourly employees.

  • Responsible for presenting attendance awards at monthly staff meetings.

  • Assists with job performance issues of the care team as needed.

  • Communicate with the Human Resources Director regarding job postings, as needed.

  • Calls and schedules interviews for hourly positions.

  • Responsible for staffing and scheduling the entire care department two weeks in advance.

  • Coordinates orientation dates and training dates for new hires, new Med. Techs, and Supervisors.

  • Communicates with the Administrator on training dates to ensure they are able to follow up on new caregivers, new Med. Tech. training, and Supervisor check-off.

  • Inputs the Kitchen schedule, Housekeeping, and Receptionist schedule each week based on set schedules provided by the Director of the departments.

  • Tracks attendance points for entire care department.

  • Assists with write-ups for attendance.

  • Is required to spend time on the floor every shift in order to monitor processes and ensure staff performance meets and exceeds expectations.


 


 


Requirements



  • Education:  High School Diploma or GED is required

  • Experience: 



  • A minimum of two years of direct care experience is required.

  • One year of previous Supervisory or other applicable experience is preferred.



  • Licensure/Certification: 



  • AHA CPR Certification is required (within 60 days of hire)

  • First Aid Training is required (within 60 days of hire)



  • Shifts/Availability



  • Must have availability to rotate being On-Call.



  • Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Good command of English language, both oral and written.

  • Ability to socially interact and perform under pressure.

  • Ability to maintain positive and professional interactions with residents and families at all times.

  • Good planning and organization skills.

  • Experience with Microsoft Programs and/or other applicable software programs and basic computer skills.
