Job Description - Business Operations Manager - Residential Remodel Construction

Full Time, In-Office, Mon-Fri position - we take care of our people!  Family first!  At Oxland Builders, LLC, we are focused on providing our clients with the highest level of quality, service, and customer satisfaction, and the Business Operations Manager is vital to accomplishing that goal. As a small but growing residential remodeling company, we need a Business Operations Manager who is comfortable switching between highlevel operational decisionmaking and essential frontline tasks, including answering phones and supporting customer communication.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 



  • Contribute as a vital part of the Leadership Team 



  • Financial & Bookkeeping Oversight 



  • Team & Department Coordination 



  • Design Team Management 



  • Systems & Process Improvement 



  • Office & Administrative Management 



  • Customer Experience Support 



  • Marketing and Other Office Functions 



Qualifications: 



  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, construction, or related field or progressive responsibilities/experience in construction operations may be considered in lieu of degree. 



  • 5+ years experience in operations, office management, or business management. 



  • Construction, residential remodeling, or designbuild experience are strongly preferred. 



  • Strong financial literacy (understanding of bookkeeping, job costing, budgeting). 



  • Experience managing teams and crossdepartment workflows. 



  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problemsolving skills. 



  • Proficiency with construction software (QuickBooks, BuildertrendCoConstructJobTread, etc. preferred). 



  • Be well organized and motivated. 



  • Proficient speaking, writing, and communicating in the English language. 



  • Competent mathematical skills. 



  • Highly proficient knowledge of computers including email, word processing, and spreadsheets. 



  • Familiar with construction project tracking software and a willingness to learn with a goal of proficiency for all projects.
