We are looking for a Business Operations Specialist to join our team of Artisans! 

About the Role 

The Operations Specialist collaborates with Operations teams to ensure the timely, and efficient continuity of daily operations and ongoing projects. Under the guidance of the COO, you will provide ongoing support to our growing teams. You will be an essential member of the team, engaging in every operational process to help enhance your own learning and development. 

Key responsibilities 
  • Monitor day-to-day operations, report on performance, and recommend actionable improvements as needed
  • Own the technology partner relationship and manage all inquiries and issues to resolution
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to help implement strategies, projects, and governance for partners, tools, and teams supporting the organization 
  • Create, maintain and update business operations process documentation 
  • Seek opportunities to improve standard operating procedures, initiate and manage transition plans, and review ongoing impacts
  • Collaborate with other operational teams, such as Marketing and HR, to assist with improvement projects and support as needed
  • Present leaders with insights and recommendations, as well as prepare presentation drafts for leadership, colleagues, and clients.
  • Provide additional support to the COO as needed
 About the Candidate 

You are a proactive and process-oriented professional who takes pride in your attention to detail. You have excellent planning and organizational skills and are able to multitask to meet deadlines and organizational needs. You have the ability to build and maintain interpersonal relationships with employees while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience 
  • 3-5 years of previous experience in an operations-related support role
  • Previous experience with traditional and agile project management, or program coordination in collaboration with cross-functional teams 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience working with external service vendors; experience managing IT partners preferred
  • Proficient with writing SOPs and mapping business processes with visual tools such as Miro, Gliffy, or Visio.
  • Proficient working with Google Sheets/Excel spreadsheets
  • Proficient with Mac OS, Google Workspace, Google Apps, and Slack
  • Previous experience working at a fast-paced startup environment preferred
