Business Process Reengineering Specialist

The organization is seeking a Senior Business Process
Reengineering Specialist (BPRS) to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a
portfolio of long -standing enterprise web applications built on .NET, SQL
Server, and Teradata platforms. This role is responsible for analyzing complex,
current -state business processes, application behavior, and data flows to
identify inefficiencies, risks, compliance gaps, and service delivery
challenges.

Working closely with leadership, technology teams, and
business stakeholders, the BPRS will design and implement future -state
(“to -be”) processes and system improvements that deliver measurable operational
and strategic outcomes. The role includes both steady -state operational support
and leadership of modernization initiatives.

• Serve
  as an application and business process SME supporting complex,
  enterprise -scale systems.
  
• Develop
  and maintain a comprehensive understanding of multiple enterprise web
  applications, including architecture, workflows, integrations, and data
  flows.
  
• Provide
  ongoing operational support (KTLO) while contributing to new initiatives,
  enhancements, and modernization efforts.
  
• Analyze
  and document current -state (“as -is”) processes and system designs; design
  and implement future -state (“to -be”) workflows that improve efficiency,
  scalability, compliance, and service delivery.
  
• Facilitate
  cross -functional working sessions with architects, developers, business
  analysts, QA, security teams, and business stakeholders to establish
  shared understanding and enable informed decision -making.
  
• Elicit,
  document, and translate clear, complete, and testable business and system
  requirements for technical and non -technical audiences.
  
• Create,
  update, and maintain process, system, and training documentation,
  including user manuals, workflow diagrams, and data -flow documentation,
  aligned with enterprise delivery and governance standards.
  
• Partner
  with project leadership—or operate independently when required—to guide
  effective use of Azure DevOps (ADO) for agile planning, backlog
  management, delivery tracking, and reporting.
  
• Define
  measurable success criteria and ensure alignment across business units and
  technology teams in support of operational and strategic objectives.
  
• Provide
  oversight, coaching, and targeted training to business analysts,
  developers, QA staff, and subject matter experts.
  
• Lead
  application modernization initiatives, including the incremental
  transformation of legacy systems into contemporary platforms and
  architectures.
  
• Support
  system security and risk management activities, including SSPs, NIST
  controls, and Authority to Operate (ATO) -related processes.
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 12+
  years of experience serving as an application and
  business process SME within complex enterprise environments.
  
• 12+
  years of experience in business analysis and systems
  analysis, including requirements elicitation, validation, and translation
  across technical and business stakeholders.
  
• 10+
  years of experience designing and implementing
  current -state (“as -is”) and future -state (“to -be”) process models,
  workflows, and supporting documentation.
  
• 10+
  years of experience creating process maps, workflow
  diagrams, data -flow documentation, user manuals, and training materials.
  
• 10+
  years of experience working within Agile delivery
  environments, including hands -on use of Azure DevOps for backlog
  management, work item tracking, pipelines, and reporting.
  
• 10+
  years of experience contributing to IT and product
  roadmap development and leading initiatives through planning, execution,
  and delivery.
  
• 5+
  years of experience supporting system security
  governance, including System Security Plans (SSPs), NIST controls, and
  Authority to Operate (ATO) processes.
  
• 5+
  years of experience performing risk analysis and
  remediation using Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms).
  
• 5+
  years of experience applying IT service management
  concepts (ITIL or equivalent) to application operations, incident
  response, and change management.
  
• Demonstrated
  success modernizing legacy systems and transitioning them to contemporary
  platforms and frameworks.
  
• Working
  knowledge of .NET, SQL Server, Teradata, and Azure DevOps within
  enterprise environments.
  
• Familiarity
  with Lean and Six Sigma concepts as applied to IT delivery, application
  modernization, and system -supported business processes.
  
• ITIL
  certification or equivalent experience preferred.
