Business Reporting Analyst

BMO is currently sourcing for a Business Reporting Analyst position on an 8-month contract.

Summary of Role:
The Business Reporting Analyst will provide mat leave coverage, offering cash management advice and support to banking partners/stakeholders and their clients. The role involves business development, deal structuring, maintaining client relationships, and supporting cash management sales and service objectives to deliver an excellent customer experience.

Project:
The analyst will work within the Commercial Banking line of business, focusing on cash management and deposit solutions, and will be involved in various projects including deal structuring, business development, and the execution of strategic initiatives.

Years of experience:
5+ years

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):

- Lead deal teams and prospecting workshops to grow business and develop new opportunities.
- Review and monitor performance of the assigned market and sales opportunity pipeline.
- Develop and maintain profitable relationships and expand share of wallet with a portfolio.
- Provide subject matter expertise and assist with complex deal structuring.
- Act as a central point of contact for queries.
- Advise on cash management and deposits solutions.
- Develop and manage banking relationships and plans for prospective clients.
- Conduct independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues.
- Support product change management initiatives.
- Identify risks and mitigate impacts to maintain operational integrity.

Required Skills:
- Cash flow and working capital analysis
- In-depth knowledge of cash management products and services
- In-depth knowledge of business investment and lending products
- Advanced Excel
- Excel Power Query
- SQL (asset)
- Power BI experience

Desired Skills:
- Previous Financial Institution (FI) experience
