Location:

The individual in this role may work from our Buhler, KS or Wichita office, remote-based or hybrid, with regular travel within the Wichita market and potentially other areas as needed.

Opportunity:

Are you a networker by nature? Do you enjoy building long lasting relationships and delivering custom solutions? We are seeking a Business Sales Advocate for the Wichita market to help grow our business. The successful candidate will have the ability to establish meaningful relationships, positive attitude and persistence in order to drive business objectives.

Key Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Aggressively identify and qualify new business leads through various methods, including cold outreach, networking, referrals, and creative prospecting strategies tailored to the Wichita market. This includes actively pursuing greenfield opportunities and competitor conversions.
  • Develop a deep understanding of IdeaTek's mission, values, and broadband service offerings to effectively communicate their benefits and value proposition to potential business clients.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on IdeaTek's services, providing tailored solutions and recommendations that directly address the unique needs of business clients.
  • Utilize the CRM system to strategically plan and execute prospecting and sales activities, track progress, and analyze data to optimize for high engagement and successful closing ratios.
  • Effectively manage and nurture a full sales pipeline from initial contact through to successful closing, ensuring accurate and timely updates in the CRM system.
  • Conduct regular in-person meetings and presentations with potential clients within the Wichita and greater KS market to build rapport, understand their needs, and present tailored solutions.
  • Actively contribute to the development and execution of the business sales strategy for the Kansas market, adapting approaches and activities as needed to achieve and exceed sales targets

Desired Attributes:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience and create compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Demonstrated history of providing outstanding customer service and a proven track record of successfully driving sales growth and exceeding targets.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • Proactive and adaptable with the ability to independently prioritize workload and adjust focus to align with evolving business needs and customer demands.
  • Highly creative and energetic with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

Requirements

Experience/Knowledge Required:

  • 5+ years of sales experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A history of consistently exceeding sales quotas.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet customers' needs

Preferences:

  • 8+ years experience in sales
  • General knowledge of telecommunications services (i.e., internet, wireless, phone systems)

This role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

This role is not eligible for relocation.

Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
