Job Description - Business Solutions Advisor

Will ONLY be posted for 1 week 



The primary responsibility of the Business Solutions Advisor is to promote and sell CTC’s products and services. The Business Solutions Advisor prospects for qualified business leads, assesses client requirements and delivers customized solutions designed to meet those needs. The Business Solutions Advisor plays a critical role in enhancing CTC’s market presence while upholding a high standard of professionalism and ensuring a seamless and positive experience for prospective business clients.

*In addition to the above, this position will perform other work related duties as assigned.  These tasks do not meet the Americans With Disabilities Act definition of essential job functions and are usually less than 5% of time spent.  However, these tasks still constitute important performance aspects of the job.

  • Strong knowledge of the telecommunication industry and the sales process.

  • Knowledge of voice and data technologies.

  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, products, services, and service locations.

  • Ability to communicate well with customers, co-workers, and various business contacts in a positive and friendly manner, both orally and in writing.

  • Exceptional ability to present clear information while networking, presenting, and/or negotiating with clients.

Education and Experience:


High School diploma, two-year degree or equivalent work experience.  The willingness to acquire the appropriate training, certifications or licenses.  



Physical Requirements:


The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.


 


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to see; hear; talk; grasp; feel; and finger equipment to complete assigned job tasks.  This position requires prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.  This position also requires full range of mobility in upper and lower body; be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.  The employee is regularly required to be able to lift; climb; stoop; kneel; pull; and push.  The employee frequently must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.



Travel:


Travel will be required for the purpose of sales meetings and training.  Overnight travel may be required if traveling outside of CTC's existing service area.

Internal – All employees should work together toward a common goal of continued progress of the company.  The employees shall attempt to maintain pleasant working relationships with those in their own and other departments.


 


External – Employees shall remember that quality service is the only reason that the company is in existence.  To the individual customer, that employee is CTC.



Work Environment:


While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone, printers, light traffic); ability to work in a confined area (i.e. office, cubicle); and ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.  This position will also be regularly exposed to outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, rain, sleet, hail, and cold when traveling to and from business customer sites.


 


This factor measures the surroundings and physical conditions under which a job must be done and the extent to which those conditions make the job disagreeable.  Consider the presence and relative amount of exposure to dust, dirt, heat, fumes, contaminants, cold, noise, vibration, wetness, etc.

  1. Meet or exceed individual sales targets for all business products and services through outbound calling, virtual or in-person meetings, door-to-door outreach, responding to online inquiries, and assisting walk-in business customers.

  2. Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities for CTC’s business solutions, including Hosted HPBX, Business Internet, Phone Services, and Video Services.

  3. Respond to business member inquiries, providing knowledgeable guidance and addressing concerns to ensure solutions are aligned with customer needs.

  4. Actively participate in events, promotions, and marketing campaigns to increase visibility and drive new business sales for CTC. Attend applicable trade show events assigned by Management.

  5. Maintain accurate documentation of sales activity, interactions, and customer feedback in CRM systems.


SALES SPECIAL PROJECTS                                                                                                20%



  1. Maintain and update sales databases, pipelines, and contact records to support accurate reporting and opportunity tracking.

  2. Delivers accurate weekly and monthly projections for anticipated new business volume.

  3. Support cross-functional initiatives and complete special projects as assigned by the Business Support Manager.


Professional Responsibilities                                                                                 10%



  1. Build and maintain effective working relationships with all CTC departments.

  2. Adheres to confidentiality policies to protect member financial and personal information.

  3. Maintains a professional appearance that aligns with CTC’s brand and industry standards.

  4. Completes other duties assigned by management.
