Business Systems Analyst (Commercial & Investment Banking)

Role Overview

• Analyze and document end-to-end payment flows across channels, payment hubs, screening, posting, settlement, and reporting.
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into clear functional and non-functional requirements.
• Support modernization initiatives, including payment hub consolidation.
• Partner with architects and engineers to ensure solutions align with payments best practices.

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in financial services.
• Strong hands-on experience with payments systems in a banking environment.
• Solid understanding of:

• Hands-on experience with ISO 20022 and SWIFT MT/MX messaging.
• Proven ability to analyze complex system integrations and data flows.
• Strong documentation skills, including:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with a big-picture mindset
• Comfortable operating in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments
• Clear communicator and effective collaborator
• Ownership mindset with strong follow-through
• Payment's architectures (real-time vs. batch) Payment's architectures (real-time vs. batch)
• APIs and message-based integrations
• Data validation, enrichment, and transformation concepts
• Reconciliation, exception handling, and monitoring
• Non-functional requirements:

• Throughput
• Latency
• Resiliency
• Auditability

Work Model: On-Site 5 Days Per Week
