Our direct client is seeking 2 Business Systems Analysts for a 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity with their Newark, NJ location.
Job description:- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
- Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
- Staying up to date on the latest processes and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
- Continuous upskilling of user platforms to support and in some cases administer updates within the system (configuration, tables, administration).
- Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
- Performing requirements analysis.
- Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
- Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Performing user acceptance testing.
- Working closely with the Product Owner ensures the team is focused on the right priorities.
- Creating and developing user stories and maintaining the backlog.
- Managing competing priorities.
- Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Develop proficient to advanced skills with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and AGILE tools (JIRA, MIRO).
Required Qualifications- Ability to influence and negotiate with key decision makers.
- Agile mindset.

- Process flow diagrams.
- Organized & Detail Oriented.
- Data analysis & integration.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience working in an AGILE environment.
- Experience with AGILE tool.
- BA/BS in CS, Information Systems or Information management or Systems design.
- Life and Disability experience.
- Group Insurance experience a plus.
- Knowledge of SQL, Databases and Analytical/Reporting tools such as PowerBI/Tableau a plus.
