Job Overview
As a business-to-business sales representative for Kitchen Guard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals and properties by providing expert advice and consultation on fire and life safety matters. In addition to technical responsibilities, this position also involves outside sales activities to expand our client base and promote our comprehensive fire and life safety solutions. Kitchen Guard is a leading kitchen exhaust cleaning company dedicated to ensuring the safety and cleanliness of commercial industrial kitchens. Kitchen Guard Services started in 2009 as a cold water, kitchen, and bar cleaning service. With a strong commitment to quality service and fire safety, we’ve built a reputation for excellence in our industry.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders. 


  • Present and demonstrate fire and life safety solutions tailored to clients’ needs, highlighting benefits and value. 


  • Develop strategic proposals with clear solutions, cost estimates, and timelines to drive informed decision-making. 


  • Meet and exceed sales targets by implementing effective strategies that maximize revenue and business growth. 


  • Conduct on-site assessments to ensure clients receive the best fire safety recommendations and ongoing service. 


  • Stay informed on industry trends and regulations to provide expert consultations and maintain compliance. 

Qualifications


  • Proven B2B sales experience, ideally in fire safety or the restaurant industry. 


  • Strong technical knowledge of fire safety systems, equipment, and industry regulations or ability to learn.


  • Driven and self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and the ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment. 


  • Adaptability in various work environments, including grease-heavy or rooftop settings.


  • Excellent time management and attention to detail in inspections, reporting, and client communication. 


  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to clients


  • Ability to build and maintain industry networks, contributing positively to a team-oriented environment. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in commercial facility services or related fields preferred, but not mandatory.

  • Relevant certifications in fire and life safety or B2B sales.

  • Bachelor’s degree or proven professional experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work comfortably at heights and on rooftops.

  • Physically fit, capable of lifting 40+ pounds and using A-frame ladders.
