Job Description - Business Unit Operations IV - (B4)
Lead cross-functional efforts involving supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, field service, AGS, and quality teams to resolve supply chain-related issues impacting customer shipments and business unit revenue. Oversee supply chain continuity and capacity planning, including crisis management and strategic supplier engagement. Act as a key liaison between product line leadership and cross-functional teams to drive execution of strategic programs that support revenue and gross margin goals. Drive COGS (cost of goods sold) reduction initiatives through supplier collaboration, hardware qualification, and material cost optimization. Build and maintain long-term supply chain and hardware roadmaps aligned with future products and technological needs to build a healthier and robust supply chain for NPI products. Investigate customer-site failures and coordinate with supplier quality, internal engineering, and external suppliers to identify root causes and define solution paths. Develop and implement business processes that improve responsiveness, reliability, and operational efficiency across the supply chain. Demonstrates strong technical expertise in semiconductor industry, capital equipment, and supplier ecosystems, with a deep understanding of failure analysis and quality systems. Applies industry knowledge to interpret complex challenges and recommend best practices that improve product reliability, delivery performance, and cost structure. Leads cross-functional initiatives with moderate complexity, balancing technical risk, supplier dynamics, and business impact. Problem Solving Drives resolution of complex field and supply chain issues using structured problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and supplier engagement. Impact Directly influences customer satisfaction, revenue realization, and operational success through strategic supply chain and supplier management. Communicates complex technical and operational concepts effectively across internal teams and external suppliers; negotiates solutions that align with business priorities and customer needs.
