Description

GenCare Lifestyle @ Steel Lake in Federal Way is a Premier Senior Independent/Assisted Living/Memory Care Community. We have an immediate opening for a full-time Business Office Director.

FT Benefits: Base Medical plan is 99% employer paid, Dental, Vision and Life at the employees expense, Paid sick (1 hour for every 40 worked, able to roll over max of 56 hours) and 6 paid holidays per year plus a paid day off for your birthday, one week vacation after one year employment, with an additional week beginning in year 2 finally with an additional week starting in the 47th month for a total of 3 weeks, quarterly raises for hourly employees, 401K eligible after 6 months with up to a 4% employer match after one year of employment, up to 3 days of bereavement and up to 5 days jury leave, First Choice Health Employee Assistance Program, free CEU’s, LPN and CNA annual license reimbursement, Free meal at work.

The following qualifications are required:

  • Accounting Background
  • Computer literate. Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and YARDI accounting software a must.
  • Proactive, positive problem-solving skills required.
  • Strong attention to detail regarding document preparation, editing and proof-reading.
  • Excellent ability to work independently while providing timely feedback to supervisor on projects and Senior Living Community activity.
  • Demonstrate good judgment and discretion. Maintain confidentiality regarding company owners, personnel, and clients.
  • Ability to successfully balance competing priorities, following through on existing projects when new projects arise.
  • Strong and well-demonstrated time-management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Written communication must be well-demonstrated in the successful candidate.
  • Professional and respectful demeanor with a strong level of integrity.

Specific Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • New Hire processing
  • Staffing Coordination
  • File Management
  • Project management and tracking
  • Prepare and document property reports
  • Monthly Billing
  • General administrative duties, including data entry, filing, correspondence, property reports, and office and site supply procurement
  • Various special projects within and outside of the office.
  • Occasional (once a month) emergency on-call rotation as the need arises, position occasionally includes some weekend work.
