Busser Job Summary: 

It is everyone’s job at Westwood to serve our members and their guests, but specifically, it is a busser’s job to clear dishes, set tables, and refill drinks. Because our bussers help with so many tasks, they are sometimes called Server Assistants. We need a full time busser able to work lunch and/or dinner shifts on weekdays and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Possess knowledge of table numbers, position, and seat numbers in relevant dining outlets
• Prepare busser stations before service and restock as needed
• Greet guests and serve water quickly after they are seated
• Bus and pre-bus tables, especially before each new course
• Bus, set, and reset tables quickly following guest departure
• Deliver dirty dishes to the dish pit in the kitchen, and throw away any trash
• Assist other staff as needed
• Understand the Westwood standards and work towards serving the member experience

Requirements

Qualifications & Job Requirements:

• Enjoys the challenge of working quickly and efficiently
• Demonstrates good energy and motivation
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism, cleanliness and neatness
• Can remain standing for several hours straight and can carry about 35 pounds easily
• Regular and reliable attendance, available during the day as well as evenings, weekdays, weekends, and some holidays
• Regular schedule with 35+ hours of working availability each week 
• Food & beverage experience (preferred)
• High school graduate or equivalent (Preferred)
