Busser

Work Location: In-person role based in Windham, NY. 

Seasonal Position: This role is available for the winter season.

Pay: 13 per hour with pooled tips

Anticipated Start Dates:  Weather-dependent, typically beginning in early December. 

Scheduling Expectations:   Part Time evening shifts on weekends and holiday are needed.

Conditions:  This role is primarily performed indoors in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Position Summary:

The Busser plays an important role in creating an exceptional dining experience by ensuring tables are cleaned, reset, and ready for guests in a timely manner. This position supports servers and other team members as needed while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and guest service established by the Food & Beverage Department.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently.
• Maintain clean and organized bus stations.
• Assist servers and other team members as needed.
• Keep dining and work areas clean and stocked.
• Provide friendly, professional service to guests.
• Follow department standards and management direction.

Qualifications:

• Self-motivated and dependable.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Able to multitask and provide efficient support to restaurant operations.

 
Physical Requirements: 

• Lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Stand and walk for up to 10 hours.
• Work on uneven terrain, including snow and ice.
• Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, and pull.
