Busser / Food Runner

Description

Summary:

Ensure all tables are bussed timely and responsible for the cleanliness of the dining room. Follow all Touchstone safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and support team to reach common goals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Essential job functions:

• Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.
• Check with captain or supervisor before leaving at end of shift.
• Set up, stock, and maintain work areas.
• Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
• Remove soiled wares from bar top and tables.
• Maintain cleanliness and condition of work areas, bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools, following all set-up guidelines.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Requirements

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk and crouch.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.
• Will be exposed to chemicals used in typical cleaning supplies.

Qualifications:

• Must have a good attitude and initiative.
