Busser/Food Runner

The Rusty Rail Brewing Company in Mifflinburg is looking for a hardworking food runner/busser to add to our team!

Job Responsibilities

• 
  
  Bussers clearing and resetting tables- this includes wiping down tables and chairs and sweeping around the tables.
  
  


• 
  
  Bussers should be attentive during meal service and scan the room for tables that need to be cleared. They should also make sure tables are ready for new guests.
  
  


• 
  
  Food runners, also known as service assistants or service expediters, have many duties that support the waitstaff and ensure customers receive their food in a timely and efficient manner. Some of their responsibilities include: Communicating with staff- Food runners communicate with kitchen staff to explain orders and special requests, and with waitstaff to determine their needs.
  
  


• 
  
  Delivering food- Food runners quickly and accurately deliver food orders from the kitchen to the correct tables.
  
  


• 
  
  Assisting servers- Food runners can help servers properly serve food and drinks.
  
  


• 
  
  Maintaining Cleanliness- Bussers should keep the dining area tidy and welcoming. This includes washing menus and high chairs.
  
  


• 
  
  Maintaining Cleanliness- Food Runners should keep expo area clean and organized
  
  

• Ability to stand for long periods of time


• Friendly with strong communication skills (listening and verbal)
