Busser/Food Runner/Taproom Support

Missing Mountain Brewing Co.’s Taproom Support is a crucial part of the business.  It will entail a duties  of clearing and cleaning tables, delivering food to tables,  washing dishes as well as cleaning restrooms. This position will NOT pour drinks, and will NOT take food and/or drink orders from guests.

This is a part-time position receiving an hourly rate plus tips. The Taproom Support must be available weekends, evenings, and for special events. Taproom Support hours may vary from week to week.

Position Summary:  As  part of the Taproom support you will be responsible for running food, clearing and cleaning tables, assisting with the scraping, cleaning, and sanitization of dishes as well as cleaning restrooms. You will stride to provide excellent customer service, attention to detail, and the desire to create a welcoming environment. 

Position Tasks:

• Clocks in and out when scheduled and arrives on time


• Communicates with management when supplies are low or out


• Run food to patrons in various seating areas.


• Clear and clean dishes and trash from tables, chairs and counters.


• Clean up spilled food, drink and broken dishes, and remove empty bottles and trash.


• Wipe down booths and chairs, move tables and chairs to appropriate places, and sweep floors as necessary.


• Transport all dirty dishes from tables to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.


• Empty trash cans throughout the taproom on a regular basis.


• Perform shift opening and closing duties including cleaning, sweeping, vacuuming, etc.


• Maintain stock and cleanliness of serving stations with necessary equipment including silverware, napkins, and condiments.


• Assist with washing and sanitizing dishes.


• Work neatly, safely and under the sanitary guidelines of the Health Department Rules and Regulations.


• Maintaining cleanliness in restrooms on an regular basis 


• Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:

• High School Education (some HS education required; HS Diploma or GED, preferred)


• Previous restaurant or customer service experience is preferred but not required


• Ability to take direction, develop, and work in a team environment


• Works calmy and executes job duties effectively under pressure


• Must maintain a professional and hygienic appearance


• Excellent customer service and communication skills


• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays


• Basic computer proficiency including the ability to use email and internet

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.


• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 35 lbs. and occasionally lift/move 50 lbs.
