We are a 115-year-old butcher shop located in Philadelphia's Italian Market. We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Butcher Shop Retail Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a butcher shop or retail environment and possess strong customer service skills. This role involves assisting customers, weighing and wrapping meat products, keeping the store clean, and providing knowledgeable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a butcher shop or retail food environment preferred.


• Basic math skills for weighing and pricing products.


• Ability to lift boxes and stand on your feet for 8 hour shift.


• Strong customer service and communication skills.


• Knowledge of meat cuts and cooking methods is a plus.


• Ability to work full time or part time as needed.


• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.


• Weekend availability.


• Basic knowledge of sanitation and food service.
