**Job Details** **Description** **Job Summary:** Contributes to the profitability of corporate operations through the successful purchasing, distribution and inventory turns of assigned product lines working within a procurement team maximizing supply chain logistics. **Key Duties and Responsibilities**: * Analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly purchases/inventory results to forecast purchasing requirements * Utilize commodity/supply chain strategies covering commodities, service and supplier processes throughout the enterprise to deliver maximum value, standardization and purchasing leverage * Execute strategies and plans to meet the company short and long-term supply chain management/inventory control requirements and savings goals * Support the corporate strategy of partnering with customers and suppliers to develop a strategic vision for driving costs down and increasing bottom line savings, timely deliveries, and internal customer satisfaction * Communicate with company managers/director and work within the long term agreements with suppliers, identifying opportunities to right-size the supplier base and implement consistent pricing terms * Maintains inventory data, levels, and cycle turns for assigned product line(s) in accordance with company guidelines * Prepares purchase orders and timely system input for processing * Track vendor orders to ensure timely delivery of products * Maintain a strong communication and professional relationships with vendors and company teams * Ensure 100% compliance with all standard operating procedures as they relate to company policy and any associated Federal, State or OSHA guidelines **Skills and Qualifications:** * 2-5 years progressive experience in purchasing, inventory, and supply chain management with extensive knowledge in MRO, preferably in a strategic setting of a mid to large size organization * Bachelor's degree in Purchasing, Production/Operations a plus * Proven experience in systems and/or project implementation (SAP, Workplace, Business Objects, Maximo, Oracle) * Strong computer skills, analytic skills, and problem-solving skills utilizing Microsoft Excel/Word * Ability to conduct Ad-hoc analysis as requested * Ability to handle multiple tasks within the company to achieve objectives with awareness of deadlines * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to identify processes needing improvement and to recommend improvements * Flexible work schedule Six Flags supports a smoke and drug free work environment. **Qualifications** **Skills** **Behaviors** **:** **Motivations** **:** **Education** **Experience** **Licenses & Certifications**
