Buyer - Consumables

Join a fast-paced procurement team supporting large-scale farming and operational activities across Arizona and California. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Buyer – Consumables to support the day-to-day purchasing activities that keep our farm and office operations running efficiently. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop a long-term career in procurement and supply chain operations within the agriculture industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Purchase consumable materials and supplies to support daily operations.


• Obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and coordinate deliveries with vendors.


• Process purchase requisitions and create purchase orders in a timely manner.


• Follow up on open orders, shipment status, and delivery issues.


• Maintain accurate purchasing records and order tracking information.


• Review vendor invoices and assist with resolving discrepancies.


• Communicate professionally with vendors and internal departments.


• Support procurement operations through organization, follow-up, and continuous improvement efforts.


• Utilize Excel and SAP to support purchasing and reporting activities.


• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or relevant coursework in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field preferred.


• Prior purchasing, administrative, inventory, or procurement experience is a plus.


• Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail.


• Professional communication and customer service skills.


• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.


• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.


• Experience with SAP or ERP systems preferred.


• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with vendors.

Job Details

• Full-time Hourly, in-office position


• Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts


• Based in Goodyear, Arizona


• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer


• Supports operational locations throughout Arizona and California
