Please note that this is an on-site role, and remote work arrangements are not available. Candidates must be willing and able to work at our facility during designated working hours.
POSITION SUMMARY
AGM’s Buyer compiles information and records to prepare purchase orders for the procurement of materials.
Employees who are in the “Regular” position are expected to uphold and abide by all Company policies and rules, including AGM’s “Courtesy and Professionalism Policy”. As such, a Regular Employee is not only expected to incorporate the Courtesy and Professionalism Policy in their dealings with AGM Employees, but also in their dealings with AGM customers, vendors, and visitors.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate degree (AA) in business or equivalent from two-year college; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to speak, read and write excellent English in an effective manner. Must have the ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Must be able to write simple correspondences.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must be able to compute percentages.
REASONING ABILITY
Must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions given in written, oral, diagram or calendar form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use their hands to handle and feel, and to reach with their arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be working around moving mechanical parts or machines. In addition, the employee is exposed to and could come in direct contact with potentially hazardous chemicals or materials. Therefore, the employee must follow proper safety procedures. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES
AGM’s insurance company requires that all drivers:
• Must have a valid Arizona driver’s license.
• Must be 19 years of age or older.
• Must have had a valid driver’s license from any U.S. state for 3 years.
• Must have had no driving violations in the last 6 months.
• Must get a certified copy of Department of Motor Vehicle driving record.
