Position Title: TMBCS Lab Support

Location: Camp Pendleton, CA

Position Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000

Security Clearance Requirement: Position requires active security clearance

Certification Requirements:

• CompTIA Security+

Years of Experience: 3-5 years in relevant field

Roles and Responsibilities:

This position reports directly to Program Manager, or designee.  Provides technical, engineering, and training services for the Theater Battle Management Core Systems (TBMCS) used by the Marine Corps. This requires specialized knowledge of the TBMCS software and its operational functions. Responsible for providing advanced sustainment support and development for the Specialized C4I Equipment in the laboratories and/or its components of MCTSSA.

Will work cross-functionally with several departments and those who are performing work at Government Customers’ sites.  Position will be required to travel at the Government Customer’s request.  Travel is expected up to 25%. 

• Provide highly specialized system interoperability and integration for multiple fielded C4I systems and associated tactical networks to Marines deployed and in garrison.
• Operate and develop specified systems in accordance with current concepts of employment for both the field and garrison environments. 
• Install, inspect, fault-isolate, and repair unique lab-adaptions of fielded systems and components.
• Review technical operations or maintenance manuals for substantive, procedural, or administrative errors. 
• Conduct preventative maintenance on lab-adaptions of fielded systems and components. 
• Ensure all Lab Equipment support and service requests completed are accurately documented in the applicable Government-approved records.
• Develop and update courseware and curriculum to support current and future TBMCS training.
• Prepare classrooms, as required, by setting out student guides and administrative documents.

• TRAVEL REQUIRED FOR POSITION - Must be able to obtain or possess a valid US Passport and be physically qualified to support miliary exercises and contingency operations.
• 3 – 5 years of related experience
• BS in Information Management, Computer Science, or related field, preferred
• CompTIA Security+ Certification
• CCENT, CCNA certifications, preferred
• General knowledge of a Tactical Air Command Center, Marine Tactical Air Control Squadron, and the tactical utilization of C4I systems.
• Willing to work in a 24x7x365 secured environment, demonstrate intuitive problem-solving skills, and allow for flexible scheduling.
