Description

River Region Psychiatry Associates is seeking a board-certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide compassionate, high-quality care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This position involves working with adolescent (ages 13-18), adult, and geriatric patients, with a focus on youth in our 12-bed adolescent unit. Our facility, a 60 bed free standing unit in Charleston, SC also offers Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP).

Responsibilities:

• Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment planning for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Deliver both inpatient and outpatient care in a collaborative environment
• Offer clinical supervision to a team of mid-level providers
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to support integrated patient care
• Participate in call rotation with 1 weekend per month, including rounding
• Ensure compliance with documentation and care standards

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
• Valid medical license in the state of South Carolina
• Experience in inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, particularly with adolescent populations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based setting

Requirements

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Education Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine – Board Certified / Board Eligible
• License Current valid South Carolina license, or ability to attain license, and a current and unrestricted DEA registration
