The Red Mountain Woodworking Cabinet Installer must be able to complete commercial cabinet installation projects from start to finish. Installation projects mainly include cabinets and laminate or solid surface countertops; in some cases, specialty millwork installation is part of the task. Although not required, experience installing hardwoods is a plus.
Duties and responsibilities
- Perform all installations with the ability to reason, understand and carry out detailed written, illustrated or verbal instructions.
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
- Ensure work is completed as requested by the customer, field supervisor or contractor and it is to their standard.
- Able to perform inspections and make quality decisions to complete work.
- Able to align doors, drawers, install hardware and deliver a professional completed product.
- Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized installation workspace.
- Able to operate a company vehicle to and from job space with active driver’s license.
- Ability to work extra hours upon request
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Required to have a smart phone.
- Required to have your own tools.
- Strong attention to detail and quality minded.
- Ability to lift materials that could weigh in excess of 50 pounds, either alone, with assistance, or utilizing mechanical assistance such as rolling carts, cabinet jack, etc.
- Access and mobility in tight spaces.
- Working at heights - over 5 feet, periodically.
- Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling.
- Ability to work within a team or independently, as needed.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from our shop.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
