Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Outside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will generate leads, attract new clients, and close deals. Your responsibilities will include creating and submitting sales reports, building rapport with new and existing customers, evaluating their needs, and negotiating successful deals. The ideal candidate has an outgoing personality, exceptional customer service and negotiation skills, and a strong desire to close deals. The candidate will need to be creative, architectural/design background, and installation knowledge is a plus but not necessary.
Responsibilities
- Develop rapport and build relationships with existing and potential customers
- Travel to appointments and meetings with potential and existing customers within your territory
- Meet or exceed designated sales targets
- Create and implement an effective sales strategy
- Use best practices in negotiation and sales techniques to close sales
- Present, promote our cabinet products to Retailers, Architects, designers.
- Provide technical information on products, installation and maintenance.
- Develop new business and continue to follow up with existing customer base, set up appointments.
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
- Coordinate sales effort with customer service and technical department.
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports.
- Provide maintenance and installation support in territory.
- Continuously improve through feedback
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous experience in outside sales
- Excellent negotiation and customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A positive attitude and ability to be persistent
