Job Description - Cabinet Sales Specialist

You’re not just a salesperson, you’re a builder of relationships, a hunter of opportunities, and the kind of person who can walk a job site and instantly see the potential. You understand cabinetry, you know how to read a customer, and you don’t wait for leads, you create them.

At Wisenbaker, we’re looking for an Outside Cabinet Sales Specialist who thrives in the field, owns their pipeline, and knows how to turn conversations into long-term partnerships. If you’re driven, independent, and ready to make an impact from the first handshake to final install, this is your opportunity.

Your Mission:

Drive new cabinetry business while strengthening existing relationships. You’ll be the bridge between builders, account teams, and internal operations, ensuring every opportunity turns into a profitable, well-executed program.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Build and own your pipeline, generating new cabinetry business and leads
  • Partner with business development and account teams to grow existing accounts
  • Act as the main point of contact between customers and internal cabinet specialists
  • Communicate builder changes including specs, redlines, blueprint revisions, and program updates
  • Attend customer meetings, Nsight meetings, and job walks to strengthen relationships and win business
  • Walk active and potential job sites to understand needs and support accurate bidding
  • Manage cabinetry samples and ensure design centers and builder displays stay current and competitive
  • Order and maintain product samples for new and existing customers
  • Collaborate on pricing, programs, and specifications to ensure profitability before client delivery
  • Support onboarding of new customers, from credit checks to full account setup and handoff
  • Attend cabinet measures, inspections, and model walkthroughs for new and existing business
  • Analyze customer selections and take rates to identify trends and opportunities
  • Deliver quarterly design center trainings (internal and external)
  • Provide feedback to leadership and manufacturing on product performance and market trends
  • Conduct field research on competitor cabinetry offerings
  • Participate in branch priority meetings to align on workflow and business needs

What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma required
  • 3+ years of cabinetry and sales experience
  • Experience in single-family homebuilding strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in cabinetry design software (20/20 preferred)
  • Self-starter mindset, you don’t wait, you make it happen
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and moving pieces
  • Comfortable working both independently and cross-functionally
  • Business-minded, with a focus on profitability and long-term growth
