Job Description - Cabinet Technician/Carpenter

We are seeking a Cabinet Technician/Carpenter who is an experienced cabinet installer. This role will require knowledge of carpentry and cabinetry. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills to carefully remove damaged cabinets without causing further damage to other surroundings. Knowledge of countertops is a plus, as we often must detach or support countertops in place while we remove and repair cabinets. We have a family-friendly atmosphere that promotes teamwork and a positive work environment.

Ideal Candidate:

Experience in cabinet installation, renovation, cabinetry, water restoration, furniture or wood working
Attention to detail, timeliness, organization skills and customer focus
Proficient in using hand and power tools commonly used in cabinet installation
Experience with countertops is a plus
Responsible, reliable and punctual
Positive attitude and willing to learn
A strong work ethic
Previous work with trim carpentry
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work performed
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Must be able to commute to and from the office in South Charlotte (located near Carowinds)

Duties

Remove damaged cabinets and re-install repaired cabinets
Safely operate cabinet related equipment and machinery including table saws, miter saws, routers, edge banders, bandsaws, jointers, planers, sanders, power tools, dust collection, etc.
Cabinet assembly
Consistently provide high quality customer service
Strictly adhere to all safety requirements and procedures
Ensure job sites and customer properties are clean, safe, and organized during your time on-site
Ensure that all necessary paperwork is filled out daily for each job performed

Skills

Experience interacting with customers on job sites
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks effectively
