Must possess ability to learn to drive and operate digger truck and trailer, and to be able to obtain the required Commercial Driver\u0027s License, Class A (CDL-A). \n \nGeneral Duties: \nDuties include, but are not limited to, the following: \n\u2022 Lifting tools and ladders; \n\u2022 Climbing ladders and poles; \n\u2022 Work from heights; \n\u2022 Work from a bucket; \n\u2022 Work in confined spaces; \n\u2022 Handle all necessary materials and supplies; \n\u2022 Manually pull and install cable plant. \n\u2022 May be required to perform additional duties and tasks as required by the Company. \n \nBasic Qualifications: \n\u2022 Must possess a valid state driver\u0027s license. Must have ability to drive vehicles with manual gearshift. Must pass an alcohol and drug test. \n\u2022 Must meet applicable federal and state standards for operating the size vehicles covered by this job title. \n\u2022 A Commercial Driver\u0027s License, Class A (CDL-A) is required. To obtain the CDL-A license, the employee/applicant must qualify on the Department of Transportation\u0027s CDL license physical, written, and skills qualifications tests.
