This role is hands-on and production-driven, ideal for technicians with solid structured cabling experience who can work independently with minimal direction. The position is primarily a day shift, Monday through Friday, with some Saturday shifts as needed. There will be potential overtime depending on project needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform structured cabling installations for new construction data center projects
  • Pull, dress, label, and terminate Cat 6 copper cabling in accordance with TIA/EIA standards
  • Install J-hook pathways, cable tray, and conduit as required
  • Support fiber optic work, including terminating, testing, and splicing (as skill level allows)
  • Perform cable testing using Fluke testers and related tools
  • Assist with security and A/V rough-in work as part of the overall build-out
  • Read and interpret basic prints, layouts, and scope documents
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, project leads, and team members
  • Follow all job site safety policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 or 2 years of hands-on low-voltage data cabling experience
  • Strong experience with cable pulling, Cat 6 termination, and structured cabling work
  • Experience with conduit installation and J-hook pathways
  • Fiber experience (terminating, testing, splicing) strongly preferred
  • Comfortable working independently and staying productive with limited direction
  • Strong communication skills and reliability on active job sites
  • OSHA 10 certification required
  • Ability to work day shift with flexibility for overtime as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work on ladders, and operate in construction environments
  • Supervisor reference required and must be entered in ICIMS

Benefits and Compensation

  • Pay range: $22–$25 per hour, based on experience
  • Weekly pay
  • Monday through Friday, 10-hour days, and Saturday, 8-hour days. You could be asked to work both first and/or second shift, so you MUST be okay with both
  • Long-term project stability on a major data center build

Why Work With Us

  • Work on large-scale, high-profile data center construction projects
  • Join a team that values safety, accountability, and technical excellence
  • Gain exposure to advanced copper and fiber infrastructure environments
  • Opportunity to continue building skills on complex, career-advancing projects
