Cable Technician (OSP)

Fusion ES is hiring for an OSP Cable Technician in Ft Meade, MD. 

Title: OSP Cable Technician

Pay: $61.93 hr

Duration: 2 weeks

Location: Ft. Meade, MD

Requirement: Confined Space Certification

There are 2 runs of OSP cabling:

1. Install 5,000’ OS2, 144 strand, single mode fiber cable through manhole pathway from new SOF Building 4407.
   
   
   
   
   1. Pathway involves 11 manhole access points
      
   
   
   2. Pathway has 4” conduit pre-installed by others with pull string
      
   
   
   
   


2. Install a 2,000’ OS2, 48 strand, single mode fiber cable and a Cat 3, 25 pair copper cable from the new SOF building to Building CS022
