Hybrid Schedule: 4 days in office; 1 day working from home
JOB SUMMARY: A dynamic HR Operations Specialist who will represent our HR team with professionalism and engagement. This role will support global HR efforts by ensuring compliance with local labor laws, managing timekeeping systems, and coordinating benefits administration. You'll collaborate closely with the HR Business Partner to provide tactical and administrative HR support across the region.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, ROLES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.
- Professional Representation: Act as a professional and engaging representative of the HR team in all interactions, maintaining a positive image and fostering strong relationships within and outside the organization.
- Compliance with Local Labor Laws: Ensure all HR operations comply with regional labor laws, staying updated on any changes or updates.
- Payroll Administration: Address payroll inquiries related to payroll and timekeeping. Monitor and audit payroll profiles to confirm accurate setup and functionality
- Timekeeping Administration: Utilize platforms like UKG or OneView to manage employee timekeeping efficiently, resolving any discrepancies promptly.
- Benefits Administration: Assist in the administration of benefits using platforms like Benefix, ensuring accurate data entry and compliance.
- Collaboration with Global Payroll Manager: Support HR initiatives and projects, ensuring seamless execution across the region.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE:
- Completion of an Office Administration certificate program or a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resources or a related field; or three to five years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years of administrative experience in a Human Resources environment
- Experience with HRIS systems
- Proven experience in HR operations or a related field.
- Strong understanding of payroll and timekeeping systems.
- Can work cross-functionally
- Familiarity with benefit administration platforms.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to represent the HR team professionally and engagingly.
- Experience in payroll/HR administration; multi-country exposure strongly preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of regional regulations related to leave, benefits, and pensions, with strong aptitude to learn new jurisdictions.
- Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems; strong Excel/data accuracy skills.
- High attention to detail, confidentiality, and problem-solving ability.
- Strong communication and service orientation; effective collaboration with local and corporate teams.
- Enhance Professional Skills: Attend workshops or training to improve professional engagement skills.
- Stay Updated on Labor Laws: Regularly review local labor laws to ensure compliance.
- Familiarize with HR Systems: Gain proficiency in using HRIS and benefit administration platforms.
