CAD & Decal Production Specialist

CAD & Decal Production Specialist 

PlanITROI is seeking a detail-oriented CAD & Decal Production Specialist to support our warehouse production operations. This role is responsible for creating, modifying, and preparing decal and labeling designs using CAD and graphic software for applications on IT computer hardware. The ideal candidate combines technical design skills with hands-on production experience and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where quality, accuracy, and efficiency are critical. 

This position plays an important role in ensuring product identification, branding, and labeling meet internal standards and customer requirements, while supporting production flow and operational efficiency. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Design, create, and modify decals, labels, and templates using CAD and related design software. 


• Prepare files for printing, cutting, and application in a production environment. 


• Collaborate with production, quality, and operations teams to ensure accurate specifications and placement requirements. 


• Maintain design consistency across products and customer programs. 


• Operate or support decal printing and cutting equipment as needed. 


• Review designs for accuracy, scale, and production readiness before release. 


• Manage revisions and maintain organized file structures for production use. 


• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve workflow and reduce production errors. 


• Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures within the warehouse environment. 

Software Experience 

• AutoCAD LT or similar CAD platforms 


• Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or equivalent vector-based design software 


• Print and cut workflow software (VersaWorks, FlexiSIGN, Graphtec Studio, or similar) 


• Label and barcode software (BarTender, Zebra Designer, or similar) preferred 


• Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for production documentation 


• Experience working within ERP or production workflow systems preferred 

 Qualifications 

• Experience creating decals, labels, or production-ready graphics


• File preparation for printing and cutting processes


• Strong attention to detail and quality standards


• Ability to work effectively in a warehouse or manufacturing environment


• Strong organizational and time-management skills


• Ability to interpret technical specifications and production requirements


• Experience with vinyl cutting, label printing, or industrial decal production


• Experience supporting high-volume production environments or manufacturing operations


• Knowledge of quality control standards in production environments


• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout a warehouse environment.


• Ability to work near production equipment and machinery.


• Ability to lift- up to 35 pounds
