CAD CAM Technician (3rd Shift Printer Operator)

Currently, we have several labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Green Dental Lab in Heber Springs, AR, for a CAD CAM Technician (3rd Shift Printer Operator).  

The regular hours for this position are from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

• Cycle jobs on additive manufacturing equipment in an efficient and timely manner.


• Clean parts removed from additive manufacturing equipment.


• Set up print jobs as indicated by the CAM Manager.


• Associate models from finished print jobs.


• Calibrate equipment as approved by the CAM Manager.


• Assist with IOS model building when all other tasks have been completed.

Skills and Abilities Required: 

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English


• Ability to adapt to company employed software such as Magic Touch, 3Shape, and various existing and upcoming portals for receiving IOS scans.


• Intermediate technical knowledge and understanding.


• Is flexible and able to work as part of a team.


• Basic understanding of how to operate a computer and use a digital file system.

Minimum Education and Experience Required: 

• Preferred: High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:

• Daily exposure to uncured resins used in additive manufacturing equipment.


• Exposure to alcohol vapors


• Possible exposure to UV light from parts curing units.


• Exposure to all materials utilized by production and maintenance in the laboratory.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods of time


• Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.


• Pushing and pulling.
