Essential Functions - CAD Drafting, Survey & CQA
- Collaborate with Design team to prepare project plan drawings and specific construction details using AutoCADfor commercial roof systems.
- Translating ideas, sketches & specifications into complete & accurate working plans.
- Prepare AutoCAD drawings for building envelope and pavement systems as needed.
- Develop, compile, and maintain an in-house library of CAD design components for roofs, building envelope, and pavement.
- Creates and executes project and CAD drawing delivery schedules and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Ensures design documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Contribute to periodic design reviews to establish and ensure designs are up to Mantis design standards.
- Design support will require conducting occasional onsite pre-design surveys.
- Occasional CQA (construction quality assurance) may be required depending on CAD workload.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Drafting & Design or related field (or equivalent experience in lieu of degree)
- 3+ years of AutoCAD LT 2019 experience and/or related certification
- Commercial construction experience
Preferred Qualifications
- BS in Engineering, Construction
- Autodesk Revit experience
- ArcGIS experience
- SpecLink experience
- Historic restoration experience
