Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer drawing requirements swiftly and accurately, ensuring seamless workflow.
- Master CAD functions like drawing modification and nesting, delivering high-quality outputs on time.
- Collaborate with customers to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability.
- Optimize nesting strategies, minimizing material waste and maximizing cost-effectiveness.
- Contribute to cross-functional teams, driving continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
- Support training and development efforts, fostering knowledge sharing and employee growth.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with 2D and 3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, DraftSight, SolidWorks, Inventor).
- Familiarity with 2D nesting software like Trumpf TruTops Boost (training provided).
- Expertise in converting 2D and 3D models across various file formats.
- Knowledge of the sheet metal industry, laser cutting, and brake press operations (fabrication experience a plus).
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proactive, hands-on approach and a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Time management skills and a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
- High school diploma/GED preferred.
