Frontier Dental Laboratories is seeking a full time Cad/Cam Scanner Dental Technician to join our team!

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour depending on experience

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours.

Work Location: In person, El Dorado Hills, Ca.

About Frontier Dental Laboratories:

Frontier Dental Laboratories is a full service, multi-site dental laboratory that provides high-end dental prosthetics, removable dental products and implants primarily for the cosmetic dentistry industry. Products include full arch and multi-unit anterior crowns and bridges, veneers, single and multi-posterior crowns and bridges as well as single unit and full mouth implants. 

Descriptive Summary 

The Dental Technician primary function is to scans all incoming prescriptions and cases.

Essential Functions

• Scan all incoming cases for posterior, anterior, DX and implant cases in preparation for design. 
• Read and interpret Doctor’s prescription forms.
• Provides administrative CAD/CAM support such as case location tracking and unit counting.
• Perform Data Entry functions for digital files.
• Upload files for fabrication.
• Ensures completeness, accuracy, and quality standards are met.
• Ability to meet scheduling requirements.
• Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.

Requirements

Minimum Skills and Requirements

Required:

• Ability to read and understand basic English instructions.
• Ability to maneuver throughout lab facilities for extended periods of time, including negotiating stairs in      some locations.
• Ability to navigate handcarts filled with dental cases around campus locations.
• Cad/Cam Experience
• Demonstrate prioritization and time management skills
• Demonstrate ability to maintain organization in fast-paced environment.

Preferred

• Prior dental experience or background, a plus.
• Previous experience working in positions that require hand and finger dexterity, a plus.

Work Conditions

• Must be able to wear personnel protective equipment for tasks requiring them.
• The worker is subject to vibration, exposure to oscillating movements of the extremities or whole body.

Work Eligibility

• Must be at least eighteen years of age
• Must pass work eligibility requirements

Physical Requirements

• Sitting - Sitting Continuous for 8+ hours
• Standing - Standing. Particularly for sustained periods of time
• Bending - Bending or stooping continuously for 8+ hours
• Lift/Push/Carry - Must be able to lift, push, and carry up to 15lbs
• Vision - The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned (i.e., custodial, food services, general laborer, etc.) or to make general observations of facilities or structures

Additional Physical Requirements

• Crouching. Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine, 8+ hours
• Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers, pinch, grasp.
• Able to use hand tools with repetitive vibration and manual dexterity.
