Wilson & Company is currently seeking a Sector CADD Manager to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. The Sector CADD Manager plays a central role in supporting the design, coordination, and delivery of municipal water infrastructure projects. This position oversees CADD production workflows, ensures adherence to industry and client standards, and provides leadership to multidisciplinary project teams. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong organizational skills, and a passion for elevating design quality across a growing engineering practice.

Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate CADD production efforts for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to develop accurate, complete construction drawing packages.
Produce high‑quality design deliverables while following established quality control procedures.
Develop, maintain, and update CADD standards, templates, and libraries for multi‑user environments.
Mentor and support CADD users in adopting new tools, workflows, and best practices as technology evolves.
Apply and enforce client‑specific or industry‑standard CADD requirements across all project deliverables.
Create and refine pipeline alignments, profiles, details, and associated infrastructure layouts based on engineering direction.
Prepare initial engineering layouts for pressurized systems, gravity conveyance, treatment facilities, pumping stations, and storage structures.
Review sketches, specifications, and engineering data to ensure alignment with design intent.
Assemble multidisciplinary plan sets and manage reference file coordination.
Perform geometry and quantity calculations within the CADD environment to support design development and cost estimating.
Document quality control reviews and ensure drawing packages meet compliance requirements.
Support project teams in meeting schedule and budget expectations through effective CADD resource management.
Required Qualifications:
Extensive background in municipal water and wastewater infrastructure design.
Experience supporting multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Proven ability to manage CADD workflows for large‑scale infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and municipal design practices.
Experience preparing construction documents for pipelines, pump stations, treatment facilities, and related systems.
Associate degree in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
Minimum 20 years of CADD design experience in the water, wastewater, or municipal infrastructure industry.
Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, including:
Pipe Networks
Plan & Profile generation
Data shortcuts and project data management
Strong experience with Bluebeam Revu and Bluebeam Studio.
Experience developing and implementing CADD standards for multi‑user environments.
Demonstrated experience producing alignments, profiles, and 3D models for water and sewer projects.
Familiarity with additional platforms such as MicroStation, Revit, Plant 3D, MEP 3D, and/or ProjectWise is a plus.
Ability to lead CADD efforts across multiple concurrent projects.
Job Location: Phoenix, AZ
Annual Salary Range: $115,000+ depending on experience
