CAE Application Engineer

We are working with an exciting organization that truly is on the cutting edge of technology.  We are looking for an  CAE Application Engineer to provide Computer Aided Engineer (CAE) consulting and software services to the computer-aided design community.  This could be a once in a life time opportunity for the right individual.

 In this role you will have the opportunity of performing engineering analysis.  This will incorporate reviewing product specifications and utilize computer aided engineering applications to apply conditions, replicate performance, and evaluate the manufacturability of products.  You will also analyze results and makes recommendations for changes or modifications.  This will also put you in a situation in which you will work with outside vendors on projects requiring outside analysis work. In this role you will also serve as a consultant to other engineers and Provides technical support in the area of finite element analysis (FEA) and utilization of application functions and features.  From time to time you may conduct training classes on CAE tools and techniques and works with outside vendors and trainers to identify, coordinate, and conduct advanced training.  As an Application Engineer you will also identify current and future needs of the engineering community.

You will also Conduct research and attends user conferences to learn about new and emerging applications and technology. Participate on project teams to support application development and customization.  Assists in defining application requirements and specifications.  Communicates needs and requests received from end users.  Contributes to the development and execution of test plans.   

You will also evaluate vendor’s new releases and provides feedback and recommendations for changes, enhancements, and improvements. May work with outside vendors to develop and deliver custom CAE software.  You will also communicate specifications and works with vendors to ensure a quality is being delivered.
