THE ROLE

We are seeking friendly, dependable, and hospitality-driven Café Baristas to prepare quality coffee and beverages while creating a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest.

This guest-facing position is responsible for preparing espresso drinks, coffee, and other beverages, taking orders, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient café environment. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and passionate about great coffee and hospitality, with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to teamwork.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Guest Experience & Hospitality

• Welcome guests, take orders, and provide friendly, efficient service.
• Answer questions, make recommendations, and ensure a positive guest experience.

Coffee, Beverage & Food Preparation

• Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, teas, and specialty beverages to established quality standards.
• Operate café equipment and prepare or serve pastries and light food items.
• Maintain consistency, cleanliness, and proper food safety practices.

Café Operations & Teamwork

• Process payments, restock supplies, and maintain a clean, organized café.
• Complete opening, closing, and daily cleaning responsibilities.
• Collaborate with team members to support smooth café operations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous barista, café, restaurant, retail, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of coffee, espresso beverages, and preparation techniques is a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn beverage recipes, operate café equipment, and handle POS transactions.
• Commitment to food safety, sanitation, and workplace cleanliness.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain active throughout shifts.
