Cafe Keyholder

The Café Keyholder is responsible for supporting Café operations by providing exceptional guest service while preparing and serving food and beverages according to quality standards. The Keyholder is also responsible for completing tasks necessary to the opening and closing operations of the Café. 

JOB SUMMARY

• Effectively perform functions necessary to the opening and closing of the Café including back office tasks
• Assist guests and increase sales by providing exceptional guest service in the Café consistent with division standards
• Serve as a role model for Café Associates in sales generation and guest service by utilizing G.U.E.S.T. Guidelines
• Maintain visual standards including product presentation, signage, lighting and general maintenance
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate discrepancies to management
• Follow all legal requirements and company policies and procedures regarding safety, quality, sanitation, maintenance, and food safety, communicating any issues to the Café Manager

• Strong customer service skills with at least 1-3 years of restaurant experience
• Effective communication skills both written and oral
• Organization and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and influence others through actions and examples
• Professional attitude and punctual attendance
• Must be computer literate
• May be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week periodically as business needs require
• May be required to attend meetings or training sessions outside normal work schedule
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs., stand for 8 hours at a time, lift, bend, twist, reach, kneel, squat, and climb stairs
