Cafe Manager

This role involves day-to-day supervision of the Café as well as leading your team to be as great as possible. The ideal candidate will enjoy performing the following: 

• Providing strong, positive leadership with excellent communication and problem-solving skills 
• Hiring and training new team members 
• Scheduling and staff planning 
• Creating and fostering a team culture that is centered on achieving goals with high levels of customer service and professionalism  
• Collaborating with department managers to troubleshoot club related issues and ensuring an overall high level of success for the club 
• Growing and elevating your team by implementing a strong foundation within the Café environment

Requirements

Required competencies, education, and experience

• ServSafe certification
• Proficient computer skills
• Must be at least 18 years old

Physical demands

• Must be able to stand, move, walk, and bend for the duration of a shift
• Must have ability and willingness to work varied shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to reach, pull, push and use repetitive arm, hand, and leg motion
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.

• Club cleanliness is an all-team responsibility; assist whenever necessary in any area of the club to keep the club neat and clean 
• Assist with Service Days
• Assist with acac programs, special events, or activities outside your department 
• Promptly return messages
• Exhibit a positive attitude at all times
• Deliver five-star service to members and guests with friendliness, direct eye contact, and a pleasant demeanor at all times
